Remembering Robert E. Simon
As most of you know, Robert E. Simon, the great and visionary founder of the Reston community, passed away two years ago at the amazing age of 101. Mr. Simon was a patron of the arts, and he also resided in the towering Heron House on Lake Anne, the same building that houses the Reston Art Gallery.
Reston Art Gallery owner Pat Macintyre was a friend of Mr. Simon. The following slideshow displays several recent photos of Mr. Simon, including some showing him in the company of Pat Macintyre and others at recent events and parties.
We will all dearly miss Robert E. Simon.
