Maggie Stewart
I have been a practicing artist for as long as I can recall. I love both painting and printmaking for the many techniques and images that are available to use. In printmaking I have produced work in silkscreen, intaglio, relief, aquatint, monoprint, monotype and mezzotint. I am presently working on drypoint etchings (intaglio), relief prints (woodcut and linoleum), paintings and recycling some previous works with collage and transfers.
Experience: Torpedo Factory Studio, Alexandria, Va 1976-1996 and 2010-2012.
Art teacher K-12 Fairfax County Public Schools 1973-1996.
